The Best Value Group can provide customized in-company training on the Best Value approach both for clients and vendors. Target groups of the training can be: management, project teams, procurement departments, tender teams, project managers or specialists in your organization who are involved in a Best Value project. The courses deal with the Best Value philosophy including the leadership model and the Best Value methodology. We illustrate our trainings with practical examples and “hands on” tips and suggestions based on our wide experience with the Best Value approach in projects and services. Depending on the needs of the organization we may take a closer look to the leadership model, the preparation phase, procurement phase, verification phase, or execution phase.

The authors of the book (Jeroen van de Rijt and Sicco Santema) describe a method in which suppliers are given maximum room to compete and be selected based on expertise. This allows the procuring organization with “little” energy to identify the best supplier and use their expertise. The result is a supply chain that produces better results and creates more value.
